We’re excited to share a first look at the new Holy Name Primary School uniform, which will begin to be introduced from 2027.
With new colours and a completely updated look, the uniform marks an exciting change for Holy Name and a fresh new identity for our students. The new range includes an everyday uniform and dedicated sports uniform, while keeping the overall wardrobe as simple and practical as possible for families. Key items have been selected to work across both uniforms, helping to reduce the number of different pieces families need to purchase.
The new everyday uniform
The everyday uniform will be worn all year round, with options to adapt it for the cooler months.
Girls will wear a white blouse with the new check skort, while boys will wear a light blue button-up shirt with grey shorts. In cooler weather, grey trousers will be an option for both girls and boys, with navy stockings also available for girls. All students will have a navy soft-shell jacket, which can be worn with both the everyday and sports uniforms. The everyday uniform will be worn with black sports or uniform shoes.
A new look for sport
Holy Name students will also have a dedicated sports uniform, with two new colours across the school. Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 will wear the coral sports polo, while students in Years 3 to 6 will wear the blue sports polo. The sports uniform will be worn with white socks and black sports shoes, with navy track pants available for cooler weather. Students will wear the same navy soft-shell jacket used with their everyday uniform.
Simple and practical for families
While the new uniform is a significant change in look, the intention has been to keep it simple for families. There is one everyday uniform worn throughout the year, with additional options for cooler weather, rather than separate summer and winter uniforms. The navy soft-shell jacket and black sports shoes can also be worn across both the everyday and sports uniforms, reducing the need for additional uniform items.
A three-year transition
We know many families already have Holy Name uniform items that still have plenty of wear left in them. For this reason, there will be a three-year transition to the new uniform, commencing in 2027. Families will not be expected to replace their child’s entire uniform straight away. Students can continue wearing the current Holy Name uniform during the transition period, allowing families to gradually move across to the new uniform as existing items are outgrown or need replacing.
Further information about uniform availability, pricing, fittings, ordering and transition arrangements will be shared with families ahead of 2027.
We can’t wait to see the new colours and new look come to life at Holy Name in 2027.
